Tobis first working day .. After breakfast he is on his way and I'm alone in the hostel. However, I use the time to unpack the suitcase a little bit and do laundry (which takes quite a while because I sit down next to the washing machine lanttila and the dryer and wait for the laundry). But of course I do not just sit there ;-) Finally I discovered a third, previously unread guide at the hostel in which many tips for Melbourne can be found. So there is still a lot to explore:-D
After I started the blog and I have the first 380 photos viewing and editing part, I'm on my way to the beach. Actually, it looked as if it were not too far away from our jogging track. However, I have so often got lost on the way there (and also on the way back), it took me quite a while to the beach. A lucky playing with the weather and it's nice and warm and the sun shines. Perfect beach weather so! First, I stroll along the beach to the port of St. Kilda. Watch boats, of course! :-) In the wind and the sun here is really nice mood to sail! After I walked along a couple of miles on the beach (and then also return the same way and for a while in the other direction) had, besides, taken great photos and collected a few shells, I decide to make myself again on the way back. Preferably in a train .. Well .. Unfortunately, this is without a map, I have of course not taken, not so easy .. So I walk about the direction hostel, what I know of our jogging tour, at least 5 km away to search a path. Negative! The cars / trams that I find go all in the wrong direction and I had to take a detour. So I walk on. Get lost easily, so I still renew the 5km and find it a tram, so I can still drive the last two stations. A stroke of luck: D So was out of my "little" walk to the beach quite a long (at least 15km) tour, but it was still beautiful. And exhausted at the hostel when I arrived, Tobi had even shopped and it was yummy sandwiches with Schablettenkäse and ham. Hail to the Sandwich Maker, which can be so delicious a cheap food yet ;-) Photos from the beach and the Albert Park!
