Just found out that Green Metropolis has closed. providores Not sure if this has already been raised

Just found out that Green Metropolis has closed. providores Not sure if this has already been raised but did do a search and couldn't find anything. providores  Only found out as I went to put a book into my list. 
Thanks for that info Sal. Have now claimed my money back .which would have been lost as I only look now as  last resort as other places are much cheaper.
Oh, RATS.  I have a whole blinking box of books for sale too.  
Thats for telling me I have money in my account. It's been there for ages and I hadn't cashed it in. it's a shame as I was keeping that as my back-up place if my money gets tight (less overtime these days if any at all). 
What's really odd about this is that I've just opened an email from Green Metropolis to say that a book of mine has been sold!!?? I've sent them an email asking how can a book be sold when the site has been closed. I understood that the site would only be open for people to arrange for their money to be paid out. They can take up to 2 days to reply to emails so I'll let you know what happens.

I've never used it so won't miss it and I stopped using BM (bookmooch) ages ago.  What a shame though providores for all the people that have used it.  I can understand the reasons behind providores it closing too.  The e-reader has a lot to answer providores for, with all the free books that are available, etc.  Postage costs won't have helped either and  believe they look set to change again sometime in the next few months.
wyres: I stopped using BM (bookmooch) ages ago.   I'm still live on BM, Bernie, providores and with nothing happening for a few months, two books removed today and off to the charity shop, and a book I added yesterday is off to California today!  Funny how that happens.
