Then we walk the subway ride to number seven out of ten, we bought. We get halfway La Rambla and ye

Already the last Saturday morning of this journey! We are just back nicely after eight wake up and walk to the showers after a breakfast restaurant .. This time we find one with "bikini" on the menu. We all pretty much understood that a toasted ham and cheese and order one with cafe con leche (coffee with milk).
Indeed, a sandwich and it tastes fine. Today we have the ports and coast are on our schedule and first we walk to the Passeig de Gracia metro. We also see as Casa Batllo and today the sky is deep blue. We can not allow it to make some pictures of it.
Then we walk the subway ride to number seven out of ten, we bought. We get halfway La Rambla and yet are still as the Boqueria market. We both buy one or one and a half euros a bowl of fresh fruit. Anika takes more than me, hence the price difference.
After also some pictures in this colorful and favorite bookoo naperville market for us, no wonder he is the most touristy, we walk out of the crowd. Today it is a lot busier than other days. We walk down Las Ramblas and at the end of it we see some living bookoo naperville statues. Most are just setting up. I take a few photos, but I have seen better. At the monument to Christopher Columbus, a 60 meter high column with a statue on it, we buy tickets to go up. It would be nice to take a last look at the city from above. But we had not counted on that but at most four people in the elevator could. After quite a long wait we may finally up. That has to be worth it, because it is beautifully clear day and we have a good view on all sides. After fifteen minutes we have seen it and squeeze us again with two Russian ladies in the elevator down.
We walk to the marina with all kinds of beautiful (sailing) boats. As we cross the bridge that are close to let sailboats. Let's look how that happens and have or want a terrace. Right on the water there are a couple and we ordered coffee and Diet Coke. It's so nice stay on the water and there is a lot to see. Then we walk along the water and the various harbors in Barceloneta. Along Anika get an ice cream at one of the delights. I'm just not a ice cream lover, so let her pleasure. It looks very nice, but it's rare that I feel like something sweet. This old fishing neighborhood is now a lot more touristy after the Olympic Games in 1992. We walk through the indoor market bookoo naperville there, but who also cites again not at the Boqueria. It is now lunch time and we see one of the oldest taverns in the city, from 1753, Can Ramonet.
We ask for a table on their terrace and I order grilled sardines and tomato salad. Sardines which I found in Lisbon all so good and I am happy to eat them this holiday sometime. It is equally delicious.
After lunch we wander what Barceloneta, but the neighborhood is a bit disappointing. That is not the case with the beach (completely built by people, but that is absolutely not visible) along the Mediterranean. There it is busy and the inviting blue sea. We sit in the sand at the edge of the water and there cozy chat on the loose. There all the time vendors along, but we reject them. Only after a few hours we stabbing our toes once in the water (which is very cool) and then go back to the boulevard.
We walk it off and take place on the last terrace. We ordered a glass of wine and enjoy the summer temperatures. Although, it is quite cloudy as we sit and I even do my jacket but again there. We have now seen it here and take the metro back to the city. There it is buzzing and we are actually both a little stadsmoe. We are going to enjoy a bit of Placa Real, our favorite square here. We are what the edge of the fountain and people watching. If it starts to rain what we decide to take the metro to Passeig de Gracia. There steps and have a last glance at Casa Batllo. A ten rides subway card is highly recommended. It costs 10.30 euros and we only have a ride on. My guide Tapas recommends 24 to eat and we do get a table there, but neither impressed with the menu. This restaurant is highly regarded, but we still choose but the neighboring restaurant, Tutromundo. We share a last portion of bread with tomato and I order the Andalusian baby calamari and green Padron peppers, very tasty! Anika has a
